Requesting permission
Identify the exact page, passage, image or dataset field you want to use and explain the proposed format, audience, territory, duration and commercial context. Permission can only cover material controlled by London Balcony Hotels; third-party assets may require separate permission from their rights holder.
- Include the exact source URL.
- Describe any planned edits or cropping.
- State whether the use is commercial.
- Allow time for provenance and third-party rights to be checked.
Initial response workflow
A report should be logged, acknowledged, checked against the provenance and asset-rights records, and escalated where ownership or licensing is contested. Disputed media can be placed on hold or replaced with a placeholder while the evidence is reviewed.
- Preserve the original page and asset record.
- Avoid admitting liability before review.
- Record the decision and any correction, restriction or removal.
- Update public credits and review dates when necessary.
False or incomplete reports
Incomplete reports may delay verification. Deliberately false statements can harm rights holders and publishers; the final wording and evidence requirements need solicitor review.
